Embedded in the nature reserve, framed by countless hiking and trekking trails. Mountain bikes are also available (for a small fee). Bathing in the waterfall of Cava Grande only 25 min. away. Enjoy the peace and relaxation. You can completely relax here undisturbed. You can start hiking through Pantalica directly from the house or drive or go to the nearby town of Palazzolo Acreide (UNESCO World Heritage Site). With its own 8x4m pool only for our guests and sun terrace by the pool. Each apartment has its own large terrace and private area.

Summary: Fabulous little gem away from it all to relax and unwind. The views across the vally are stunning. Well Situated for visits to the south/west and east of Sicily, with most destination within or just over 1hrs drive. Our host, Horst was very good. Nothing was too much trouble, with great knowledge of the local and near and far towns and attractions. If you are looking for a bit of peace and tranquillity, then look no further, its here.

Summary: Friendly, remote, clean, Swimming pool requires a cover. Sign of location for turn off when first arriving. However the owner was very helpful. Beautiful remote location with stunning Mulberry trees. Accommodation excellent apart from low ceiling in bedroom

Summary: We absolutely loved this little place. Peaceful and relaxing but within reach of amenities. Our apartment had everything we needed for our stay the views were stunning Giuseppina was a knowledgable host who left us to relax but was available if we needed him. We would definitely return to this little piece of heaven.

Summary: The most relaxing place to stay! Peace and tranquility, nearly 800m above sea level, where the noisiest thing is the bees and birds amazing views and super swimming pool. The accommodation was spotless and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need! Highest recommended

Summary: We had the entire place to ourselves which was wonderful. The apartment is one of 3 in one building. If you prefer solitude I would consider the house rather than the apartment. That said it is a beautiful location and not a long drive to everything. So nice to visit a tourist town and then return to the solitude. Recommend visiting the Pantalica.

Summary: We didn't really know where we were going, as we've choosen the place in an strategic attempt to being rather close to the east cost, but not in the middle of everything. We couldn't have chosen better! Our first impression was a bit of surprise, how far off everything this mountainy village was. But what a pretty one. Buscemi is a pearl in the mountain, and nearbey UNESCO heritage town Palazzolo is georgeous and provides everything you need. Horst and Josepina welcomed us so nicely and have created a fantastic space for friendly travelers to enjoy their peaceful time. We were lucky and the first nights we were the only guests in the 3-appartments setup. The other half, a friendly couple was our neighbour, which was also really nice. It was very hot these days, so we weren't willing to make real plans. Otherwise we'd really have enjoyed the offerings of Horst of a quad tour, or also to make use of the dinner offering they have there. Instead, we used the very nice grill there to make good BBQ with fish from the sea or local Salsiccia sausage. Just a bit worrying was the last night, in which the other side of the hill was burnt down (apparently intentionally and controlled), and in the next morning we saw that also the road, which would have been the only escape route, also had cought fire. That was quite irritating and in the times of heavy wood fires in sicily, I'd have wished for better communication with the host.

Summary: What an amazing place,we loved every minute in this wonderful property. Horst and Pina made us so welcome and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Horst 's quad bike tour was the highlight of our fortnight we highly recommend it. The apartment is clean, comfortable and equipped with everything that you need and the pool is perfect. Hope to go back next year
